Lecture Performance
Hedda Roman's work is based on the formulation of artistic questions in the context of the continuously evolving framework conditions of digital image generation processes. In the lecture performance "On Generative Art or How to Fall in Love with the Loss Function", followed by a panel discussion, they invite us to reflect together on the current state of artificial image generation. The first part of the event, moderated by curator Ania Kołyszko, will shed light on the basics of AI in theory and practice. This will be followed by an open discussion about the opportunities, challenges and problems that AI offers for artistic practice.
The event will be held in German and English. As the number of participants is limited, please register at silvana.alberti@dfi-ev.org.
Hedda Roman is an artist duo consisting of Hedda Schattanik and Roman Szczesny.
